Yukonstruct and TAA Joint Food and Beverage Bootcamp:

Welcome to Food and Beverage Bootcamp - a partnership of Yukonstruct and the Territorial Agrifood Association—where your food passion meets business success! This 8-week program caters to early-stage entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry, offering a comprehensive curriculum that includes essential business skills and specialized training in agro-food processing. 

 

Program Overview:


Duration: October 4 - November 29, 2024 (dates may be subject to change)
Format: In-person and online sessions
Focus: Empowering consumer packaged goods (CPG) ventures
Support: Expert mentorship, customized workshops, and access to a network of mentors, industry experts and like minded entrepreneurs.


Who Should Apply?


We're seeking driven entrepreneurs who:

  • Have been in business for 0-3 years

  • Aspire to create food and beverage products for export

  • Aim to sell products through wholesale, grocers, convenience stores, or e-commerce

  • Are growth-oriented, collaborative, and coachable

  • Can commit at least 8 hours per week, with additional time for outside session work


Application Process:


Applications open: August 1, 2024
Interviews: Short-listed candidates will be invited to interview in August.
Final Selections: Entrepreneurs will be finalized and contacted in late August.
Onboarding: Begins in September, with the program starting in October.


Session Structure:


Introductory Sessions: In-person (where possible)
Friday Sessions: In-person (where possible)
Wednesday Evening Sessions: Online (5:30-7:00 P.M.)


Cost of Program: $750


Subsidies are available, please contact your local ITI office for funding support.  If you are not eligible for funding, please contact ed@nwtagrifood.ca - we will do our best to find a way.
