INVESTMENT TRAINING FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

The Territorial Agrifood Association has partnered with the Canadian Small Scale Food Processor Association to deliver a program aimed at closing a major gap facing women entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector.

Studies show that women entrepreneurs lack financial confidence at the investment seeking level, but can benefit from focused training to assist them to become ready to attract that investment. By taking part in such training, women entrepreneurs are better able to scale their business and become more commercially viable.

This no cost program brings Dr. Ellen Farrell  and her proven Investoready© program as the cornerstone of this Venture Capital Ready program for women food entrepreneurs. Additionally, SVX (a positive impact investing non profit) and Movement 51 (a non profit dedicated to female investors and founders) will recruit and support interested investors.

Partners like us across Canada will promote the program, seek out potential women entrepreneurs from our regions, and provide mentorship and ongoing support to program participants.
